01 / THE IDEA
Art song
and MIND
An art song is a Western vocal music composition, usually written for one voice with piano accompaniment and rooted in the classical art music tradition. Known as Lied, Mélodie, Romance or Canción, it brings poetry and music into an intimate dialogue.
MIND creates new contexts for this tradition — connecting artists, ideas and audiences across Europe.
